Ingredients:
- Foxtail millet 2 cup
- Water: 4 cup
- Ghee: 2 tbsp
- Gaggery , grated 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped Pistachios 1 tablespoon
- Saffron strands a few
- Saffron water 1 tbsp
Instructions:
- Soak millet in cold water for 45 mins, wash and drain the water.
- Heat ghee, Add soaked millet and bhuno for few mins.
Add water and cook the millet till it becomes soft. - Add ghee, saffron and cardamom powder, stir and mix well. Add saffron water and mix well.
- Add grated jaggery and stir well..
- Let the mixture cool slightly. Grease your palms with a little ghee and start shaping the millet into small ladoos.
- Add chopped nuts and saffron strands on top of each ladoo.
- Allow he ladoos to cool completely so they firm up. Store them in an airtight container
