Ingredients
- Barnyard Millet , soaked, boiled, drained – 1 cup
- Barnyard flour – 2 tbsp
- Button mushrooms , chopped – 1 cup
- Green peas, boiled, mashed – 1 tbsp
- Onion , chopped – 1 tbsp
- Ginger , chopped – 1/2 tsp
- Green Chilli , chopped – 1/2 tsp
- Potato, boiled and mashed – 1/2 cup
- Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – a pinch
- Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder – a pinch
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – for frying
Method
- Saute onions, ginger, garlic and green chilli. mushroom and green peas.Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt.
- Add mashed potato and 1/2 cup barnyard millet. Mix well and transfer the mixture to a plate. Divide the mixture into equal size and shape them into balls and flatten them using your palm.
- Make a slurry of barnyard flour,salt and water.
- Dip the cutlet in a slurp and coat well with remaining barnyard millet.and fry them on both sides till it is golden brown.
- Serve hot.
