Ingredients
- Finger millet /Ragi millet, soaked overnight – 2 tbsp
- Fresh green peas – 2 cup
- Green chilly, chopped – 1/2 tsp
- Ginger, chopped – 1/2 tsp
- Mint leaves – a few leaves
- Coriander leaves & stalks – 30 gm
- Salt – to taste
- Refined oil – 1 tsp
- Lemon juice – a few drops
Method
- Boil ragi millet till it completely gets cooked. Strain and keep aside.
- Saute green chilly, ginger , mint leaves and chopped coriander leaves and stalks. Add vegetable stock / water and simmer the flame. Add salt .
- Add green peas , ragi millet. Cook for a few minutes.
- Strain the stock and make a smooth puree.
- In a thick bottom pan , add peas & millet puree, add strain stock water. As per desired consistency. Check the seasoning.Finish with a drop of lemon juice.
- Serve hot. Garnished with mint sprig and few boiled ragi millet.
